Be aware of your surroundings at all times:
This morning around 5:15 a.m., we responded to a 911 call in town. The MPPD learned the victim's vehicle was followed from Chicago, quite a ways from Merrionette Park. Once arriving at the residence, the three offenders approached the victim, implied weapons and demanded he turn over his key FOB to the muscle car. However, the owner had disarmed the vehicle, which led to the vehicle stalling as they attempted to take it. Police were immediately on the scene. This is an ongoing investigation, so all details and leads will not be discussed. The victim wants to remain anonymous.
